AlertaMap shows what is happening in an exact place, what changed, how fresh and trustworthy each fact is, and what the competent authorities say — free, with no account, in your language.
AlertaMap is informational. It is not a substitute for official alerts. Always follow the instructions of your local authorities and emergency services (112 in Europe, 911 in the Americas). Data sources can fail, lag, or be incomplete — the absence of reports here never means a place is safe. AlertaMap es informativo, no sustituye a las alertas oficiales. Following a place saves it only in this browser, with no alerts or cross-device synchronization. Successful saves survive an ordinary restart until you unfollow or clear site data. If saving fails, a visible warning explains that changes last only in the current tab and older follows may return after reload. Following itself sends no request and enables no measurement. If the saved profile changed outside this tab, saving is refused; you can explicitly reload the saved profile and discard this tab's unsaved changes. This is a stale-write check, not cross-tab synchronization or a transaction guarantee. Seguir un lugar lo guarda solo en este navegador, sin alertas ni sincronización entre dispositivos. Si se guarda correctamente, permanece al reiniciar hasta que dejes de seguirlo o borres los datos del sitio. Si falla el guardado, un aviso explica que los cambios duran solo en esta pestaña y que los lugares anteriores pueden volver al recargar. Seguir un lugar no envía solicitudes ni activa medición alguna. No accounts. No cookies. No tracking. Your saved places and reports remain in this browser's local storage and are not uploaded to AlertaMap. Cleared and expired reports are removed, and the browser retains at most the 100 newest active report markers. If you choose “At my location”, your browser uses your location only to place that local marker. AlertaMap receives ordinary requests for the app and public hazard snapshots. Google Fonts receives a font request plus ordinary network metadata when the app shell loads. OpenFreeMap, RainViewer and NASA receive requested map/imagery tile coordinates plus ordinary network metadata such as IP address; the viewed map area is not necessarily your device location. Photon receives the place-name query plus ordinary network metadata only when you use search. Sin cuentas, sin cookies, sin rastreo. Los reportes eliminados o caducados se borran, y el navegador conserva como máximo los 100 marcadores activos más recientes. Photon recibe la consulta del nombre del lugar y metadatos normales de red solo cuando usas la búsqueda.
